View GalleryJune 2025 i visited Mykines in the Faroe Islands with 2 other photographers to photograph the puffins that live in large numbers on the steep cliff sides. Mykines can be a difficult place to get to because of the ever changing weather and wind conditions that makes the boat trip challenging. We spend nearly 3 days sitting on the edge of the cliffs and observed the birds fly in from the ocean to their burrows. Puffins are just so much fun to photograph and they since they get really close to you its possible to get some fantastic portraits of them in their environment.
